#AskTheExpert my baby is suffering from cold from a week.. am using cold syrup, nasal drops and steam.. but she is crying while giving her steam. plz help

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. baby is only one month of age we may continue the medicines given by the doctor Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Sowmya MMom of 4 children3 years agoA. hello actually you are not supposed to give the direct steam to your baby you need to give indirect steam to the baby so just make sure you are giving the steam in a proper way to the baby and also please do anything only the only under the prescription of your doctor
