#asktheexpert my baby is six weeks old, she sleeps through the day and wakes up at midnight till around 5 am but now it feels like she wants to sleep in the nights also but not able to and starts getting cranky at her wake up window and cluster feeds. kindly advise how to engage her and control the fussiness at her wake up window.

A. Ma’am I would like to tell you that this is common because in the growing age and this is the Dr say that the kids have growth spot which is why they feel hungry on and off which is why this kind of behaviour can be commonly seen and if a child is crying that can also be due to stomach pain so kindly give a medicine and see if that helps
