#AskTheExpert my baby is going to complete his 3 years,but still is not able to speak more than 5 6 words only.can u plz guide what to do.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it need to be seen .Specialist near by or your family pediatric doctor should see as it is difficult to advise for this without examining the baby . Further any medication according to the examination only .

as such no need to worry , because now a days , due to prolonged exposure to screen ,kids learn to speak lately.
so first limit your child screen time.
play different games, sing rhymes,read stories with your child and in between encourage your child to speak more by asking simple questions related to them.
but never force your child.
