#AskTheExpert - my son is 2 year 5 months old but he only says few words till now do not even try to speak more...I am worried about him

A. hi your baby is 2 years old now language milestone delay is common and you need to encourage him to speak with you and use audio and video of rhymes and pictorial books for better understanding of language

A. my baby too 2.5 years old , he speaks few words but not fluently it takes some time

A. hello if the baby is able to speak some words atleast then it is usually not a problem.. you can just encourage your child and give it more opportunity to speak and as the baby grows then it will be able to speak well and if required you can check with your doctor
