A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for zone year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit xa pediatrician for examination.

A. If you notice any signs of distress while your infant is urinating, notify your pediatrician. This could be a sign of infection or some other problem in the urinary tract
