Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 8 months old. I got chicken pox now. When I saw the doctor, he said that there is nothing wrong with breastfeeding. Is the baby likely to get chicken pox.. She is still drinking milk. I am taking antiviral pills. Are there any complications if the baby gets chicken pox?

A. Hello dear parent! Check with your doctor for advice on any other precautions while breastfeeding your baby. Clarify all your concerns regarding this and follow your doctor’s instructions diligently. Good luck and take care.,
