#AskTheExpert my baby is 4.5 month old and we hav travelled for a wedding to delhi and here the climate is cold for baby... he got cold and started coughing and I can feel the phelum via cough voice ..... what medicine should I start except wokryl+ kufrill + Amoxicillin

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by ttshe doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hello there ma’am please please do not worry about it too much and it is always advisable to give baby medicine after the doctor evaluation and also medicine should be given as per the baby weight and age Take care
