#AskTheExpert my baby gets hiccups mostly after feeding since her birth and whenever she got hiccups she gets little uncomfortable is it ok or is there any problem and one more thing what should be the normal body temperature of her as her back of neck is slight hot when she wake up after her evening nap...

A. In babies, 36.4 °C or 97.5 °F indicates a normal oral temperature. Normal rectal temperature is between 0.5 °F (0.3 °C) to 1 °F (0.6 °C). Hiccups is normal in babies. Please do not overfeed the baby. Feed the baby more frequently but feed less each time. Burp the baby during and after each feed. Always feed the baby in an upright position. After each feed, make the baby sit on your lap in an upright position for atleast 20-30 mins.

A. Hi mom Burp well after every feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping Take a good care of your baby Give adequate feeding Burp well after every feeding Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
