Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose fobr 3-5 days as per thef symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

There could be medicines to go ahead with for sure but since your child is just a days old I would not recommend you to go ahead with any medication without consulting the doctor only I can tell you wish to give indirect steam to the child currently that’s going to be really fruitful but please do consult your doctor as that’s going to be the most important thingWrite Your Answer Here
