Q.

#asktheexpert my 4 months old is having fever since yesterday. it was 100 yesterday and today it is 101.when I give calpol it comes down. there is noother symptom. is this teething issue or weather change? should I. keep. him in AC to. keep. his temp down.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line trecsatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
