#AskTheExpert my 2 years daughter has frequent fever and cold sir. What is reason sir? What we have to do?

A. Common cold or a fever can be caused by any of the numerous viruses present out there . Every time the baby is exposed to a virus she gets cold or sometimes fever. But u need not worry about this as she develops an immunity to this virus and will be more stronger as she grows old. So it's very common for infants to catch colds or get fever often. It indicates a good development of their immune system. So as the baby grows older the frequency of getting cold or fever he get will reduce. If it is not reduced even after couple of years then you should let your pediatrician know about it as the kids immune system may be weak and get some immunity boosters prescribed. Always include healthy fruits and vegetables and other pulses in baby's regular diet.
