#AskTheExpert mam my daughter has a cold at this time and she is about to get vaccinated, can i get her vaccinated?

A. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vvaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccinaftion if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. hello actually usually when the baby is having some kind of cold or fever vaccination can be postponed for few days so just try consulting your doctor better or not to get vaccination because even that also might cause fever
