A. For a six-month-old baby, after starting solids, you can offer 2-4 tablespoons (about 30-60 ml) of water per meal. In total, around 60-120 ml (2-4 ounces) per day is enough. Here are some important points to remember: Always offer water in a small sipper, spoon, or open cup (not a bottle). Breast milk or formula remains the primary source of hydration at this age. Do not force water; just offer small sips after meals to help with digestion. Avoid excessive water intake as it can fill up the baby’s tiny stomach, reducing their milk and food intake
