#AskTheExpert Its been around 11 months since my delivery but my cesarean marks is still not flat it is rope like structure yet like it wast post delivery..is it fine for the wound.?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. it could be that you might be having a hypertrophic scar or it could also be a keloiD and as such it will not cause any harm to you are the scar but if it is causing any pain then consult your doctor

There is no sure shot remedy for stretch marks but the intensity gradually reduces by applying pure coconut oil or almond oil or bio oil on the affected area. Do tummy exercises to tighten muscles and skin around the tummy. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby.
