#AskTheExpert is it alright to give steroids to kids 10 years old for common cough and cold?? my kid has allergies and gets cold every few months, and Dr prescribes steroids or steroids with antibiotics. is it alright??

A. I do not appreciate giving steroid because the roads have a lot of side-effect specially what kind of weight gain people have with steroids which is best for specially kids I don’t advise it but if you do not have an option and if your Dr is giving it then you can give but also at the same time I would just say I am not sure about what allergy child is having but if you are okay with it then why don’t you try taking a homeopathic or an Ayurvedic treatment for your child
