ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. nope... Gripe water should not be used in babies. It is not good for baby just give only breast milk. Only breast milk is sufficient for your baby till first 6 month. Burp properly after each feed. avoid any self medication.

I consulted 3 paedetricians and all of them asked me NOT to use it. It contains alcohol and other harmful chemicals. Old people will suggest it but deny. Don't fall into peer pressure.

Hi mommy m No Gripe water contains harmful chemicals Avoid its use Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
