#asktheexpert is covid vaccination safe for breastfeeding mother? when is it adviced to take covid vaccination for new mom?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. the vaccines are safe but I. india tge govt is not giving it yo tge bread feeding n pregnant females.Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosis

There are still studies going on and it is too early to conclude anything. Few mommies are getting their shots after consulting their doctor, you can also do so accordingly. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby.
