#AskTheExpert If the mother is tested corona positive. can it be transmitted to 9 months old baby. What all precautions could be taken apart from washing hands frequently and wearing a mask.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes it can be transmitted Covid symptoms could be anything like fever cough cold vomiting loose motions irritability loss of appetite and it depends upon the immunity of the child and accordingly the treatment and management is required

yes it can happen.
but not necessary
so please don't get Panic.
just offer breasfeeding as per your child needs ,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against such Infection.
give sunbath for 20 minutes a day.
