#AskTheExpert I was covid positive. Today is my 7th day and my doctor said I can be out of my Isolation period. Since I have a child of 4 years mu concern is is safe if I come in contact with my child after 7 days of isolation??? P. S _ My child is not breastfeeding and I am still sneezing and coughing sometimes.

A. Hello good morning !! Though isolation for 7 days is suggested as you are still sneezing, cough wait for 2-3 days in isolation and give sample for test. After negative report you can come out of isolation as you are sneezing,cough it(flu, air particles might affect other family members If you have no cold, sneezing, cough you can go for tests and come out of isolation
