#asktheexpert I'm suffering cold in every 4 days once so pls suggest me wts the reason and prescription

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination....gl
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

It Could be a possibility that you are allergic to weather change or something because when you see too much of frequent cold happening it would definitely be due to some allergic reaction in the body so you should consult your doctor ones then only you will come to know what is the reason what are you basically allergy to
