A. Hairfall after delivery is common due to hormonal changes and it can last for a year or longer. To reduce it, include protein and vitamin rich foods and drink lots of fluids. Massage scalp with mild oil like olive, coconut or almond oil twice a week and wash off with sulphate free shampoo. Do not comb wet hair and do not use heat and chemical treatments. Applying onion juice once a week will help too.
