#asktheexpert i have not shaved my baby boy head since birth what would be the perfect age to doing it & also will it change my boy hair texture and increase growth speed.

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy9 months agoA. Hai good evening !! Tonsure(mundan) is based on rituals in your family ,check with your family members,elders.
Generally 1,3 ,5 years ... odd number years are preferred.
As baby is 4 months old you can plan around 9-12 months ,other wise after 2 years to 3 years(24 months - 36 months).
Yes after tonsure hair growth increases ,hair texture changes in few babies.
