#AskTheExpert I have been giving my baby water in the form of ORS(WALYTE) solution only since she was 8 months old, now she is 18 months old, Will it cause any side effects or any ailment in her, Sir please opine.Thanks!

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. ors should be given in condition if one has dehydration, suffering from diarrhea, vomiting, acid reflux, urinating not properly etc
it has lot of medicinal benefits which is used to cure in upper cases . so if you give in excess it can increase potassium or sodium in body.
please consult with your pediatrician before giving it to baby regularly
