Q.

#AskTheExpert I delivered my baby through C-section and he is now two months old. From last few weeks I am feeling pain in lower section of thumbs and both wrists below thumb area and there is no pain in fingers and rest part of wrists. when I move my thumbs pain feels in wrist and hands also. Is it normal after delivery or is it any side effects of anaesthesia?

A. It is not because of the anesthesia but due to the hormonal changes that happen in the postpartum period that you’re feeling all these pains and if there severe consult an ortho doctorWrite Your Answer Here
