#AskTheExpert I am living in pune at 19th floor, it's very cold here due to blowing wind all the time. I am using winter clothes for my son, he is suffering from cold and cough. Most of the time he sweat alot specially from head. Should I use some medicine for cold and cough or some any home remedy for cold and cough. Please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold together along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection mostly like flu so supportive treatment is required.y
along with that cough expectorant along with decongestant and antiallergic medications are needed.
steam inhalation can be given too as it will relieve the symptoms.
