#AskTheExpert I am 39 weeks pregnant. How can i induce labour naturally. All my reports are fine for normal delivery. My cervix has not dilated yet. Please suggest ways to open cervix naturally.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you can wait just for one week more.. still if you didn't get pains then you need to consult your gynaecologist immediately for artificial induction of labor and deliver your child safely

Hello ma’am If you’re just looking forward for normal delivery you can consult your paediatrician and she can do a sweep stretch to you which helps in triggering labour within 48 hours I have been through the same so can assure apart from that a lot of doctors advised to have castor oil so ask your doctor if you can have that and then whatever is feasible to you you can go ahead with the same
