major water requirements are met from breast milk and also from the food
if urine is light yellow or colourless and baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours do not worry

at age of 6 months, babies need only 30-40ml water per day
so try to offer it in few spoons of quantity after meal or during play time
give other liquid like soup, coconut water, buttermilk, etc
