#AskTheExpert how do I know if my baby is getting sufficient milk. she just completed one month . she feeds for very less time like 5 or 10mins every 3 hrs. please let me know if this is fine

A. hi...The following traits indicate that a baby is getting enough milk. The child is pooping 4-5 times a day and the poop is large and mustard coloured. The baby is peeing at least 8-10 times a day. The baby looks content after a feed, though this differs from one child to another. The breasts feel softer and less full after feeding. The average gain of a newborn baby in a month is 175 to 200 grams per week. You can count it to be 700-800 (approx.) grams per month.
