#AskTheExpert hii my baby is complete 6 months how can i start her solids and water

A. definitely, Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed. Follow three day wait rule. Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) . Moong Daal water, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

A. yes after completion of 6 months you can start giving other food than Milk but say that in the beginning it should have the consistency just like milk so it is better to start with giving Dal Ka Pani rice porridge Ragi porridge and Cerelac in the beginning you should started with small portion and along with that you should give water also and gradually you can increase the portion
