#AskTheExpert Hi, my baby is 11 months old . does a baby of 11 months old kept in AC/cooler if it's really hot outside.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes you can keep.To increase weight you must add high energy foods like eggs paneer , soya , ghee in rice , khichdi etc.this will boost him ok.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. yes if its very hot then you can use ac. but make sure you mahe the baby sleep a bit away from the ac opening. let the air directly not face the baby. let the room be cool that's all. if you feel baby will have a blocked nose or cold then stop using it. Also keep the baby covered appropriately.
