#AskTheExpert ,hi ma'am, I have 8 months old twin girls. im still breastfeeding them,but they have started eating solids also.can I start taking birth control pills now?

A. if you want to stop totally breast milk there is no problem we can take birth control pills For further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination and proper medication please try to see your local doctor once . . . . .

A. Yes, if you're breastfeeding, you can safely use hormonal methods. They won't hurt you or your baby. You can start using the shot, implant, Skyla and Mirena IUDs, and some types of birth control pills (called mini-pills) right after giving birth.
