#AskTheExpert HI Doc, my 3months old boy is having cold when we r in AC is there any medication to take. Can we use nasal drops

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. use nasoclear saline drops in nose Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever whichx needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
