Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases andx decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. If the child is constantly getting this problem then this could be an allergic reaction because some kind of an allergy can definitely lead to continuous cold to a child so that can be a reason for your child
