#AskTheExpert hello my son is 3 years 10 months old. He is 14 kg in weight. Since many months he has these boils/rashes on his skin near knee area. We have applied several creams (Dermi 5, Soframycin, Calamine Lotion) but there is no improvement. Can you please help me to understand the actual cause of these boils/rashes and it’s remedy. Thank you In advance !

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. It might be due to excessive sweating as it is a skin fold so due to excessive sweat these heat rashes appear so apply Chandan paste once in a day and even Himalaya baby powder can be used to keep the area dryb

if it happens only at this specific area it might happen because of sweating or heat or infection.
so I advise to try pure aloe vera gel on this.
prefer loose fitting Cotton clothes for your child
keep that area clean using Gentle wipes like Babyhug wipes
give bath with warm water and neem leaves
