#AskTheExpert hello..I am a breastfeeding mom of 1 year old baby.I had loose motion and consulted a physician but forgot to mention that I am a lactating mom.I had taken O2 tablet and Bifilac tablet..Can you please tell if it's safe to take these medicines during breastfeeding

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl3 years agoA. it is some infection . Diarrhoea is a symptom of viral infection so any Medicine can be with hold and home remedy like o r s can be fed and decrease in amount of milk . Probiotic and zinc drop can be added for early recovery .
