#AskTheExpert hello doctor my son is 5.9 years old , he often gets cold, monthly once, wht to do to avoid cold for him and how to increase his immunity, pls suggest..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold canf be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalatigon is repeated frequently .

My first suggestion to you is going to be to get a check for an allergy maybe your child is suffering with some kind of analogy which is why your child is frequently catching cold it could be a scientist said that he has there is some another issue from regular cold and cough for the childWrite Your Answer Here
