#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My 3 year old kid gets cold very frequently. We went to see one allergies & asthma specialist. She says he has Asthma and needs to take Singulair tablet 4mg for a month. Actually we are little skeptical about putting him on any long term medication. Also we doubt, if its Asthma, because there is no test done and my son usually has cold without cough. Please guide me what to do.

Hi Be difficult to give you but I change and for that so I did you take a second opinion from another doctor and figure out the issue and according to that they only will be able to help you with anything so I recommend you to go ahead with a second opinion for
