#AskTheExpert good morning doctor. I delivered my baby in March via c-section. have put on pregnancy weight and also lot of muscle pain . can I start yoga and exercises now.

A. After six months post cesarean surgery you can start doing all sorts of activities but until then you can only do brisk walking and no dating until you complete six monthsWrite Your Answer Here

A. Yes, you can do yoga even after a c-section. But, we often recommend that you wait around 8 weeks before doing it. The reason is that yoga can put a lot of stress on your abdominal area.
