#AskTheExpert can I skip iron and calcium medicine sometimes? or would that affect the baby in any case,m

A. that's fine if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to give any health supplements or calcium or multivitamins to the child but if it is less than your doctor will examine and according to the deficiency the doctor will give medicine and tell till what time a supplement needs to be continued. but it is at the same time advisable to go natural by giving diet as per age of the child which contains all the important nutrients and supplements. d usually you have to give only iron and vitamin d supplements to the child but that also in maintenance dosage and not as a deficiency dosage after medical consultation.

For what purpose are you taking these medicines or it is for your child or for yourself you have not given any clarity in your question so can you please re-post your question with all the details as accordingly we can help you with that but this only thing is that you should not skip on supplements given by the doctor
