#asktheexpert Are Azelic cream and Salicylic acid-based cleansers or creams not safe to use during pregnancy? I have acne and pigmentation on my face... Which cream and cleansers will be alternative to the ingredients mentioned above?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. During pregnancy you have to be very careful what you use and there are many products available in the market. Make sure that you check all the ingredients because even if they said the products may be normal during pregnancy, there could be other ingredients which are not like retinoic acid or retinol. Go for home remedies. Also, there will be flareup of acne during pregnancy.
