A. can do so when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Most vaccine reactions as explained by your doctor or nurse are minor events and are usually mild and short lasting and in most instances do not need special treatment. Place a cold damp cloth (cold compress) over the affected area to give relief. Paracetamol (not aspirin) may be used to ease the discomfort.
