#askthedoctor Sir, my son played holi with little colors and water on the festival day. He has got some rashes on his hands and face which are itching and he feels like rubbing them. Also he is feeling the food spicy although earlier he used to eat them. Kindly guide through the problem.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. try to offer simple less spicy food. give sufficient water to him.. apply calamine lotion over itichi parts, if no improvement it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

Flat, red patches or small bumps often first appear on the face and spread to the body and limbs. The rash is harmless, not contagious, and will clear after a few days or a week.
