#askdoctors My baby is on FM . She is going to be 3 months on 1st July. Her weight decreased after birth. She was 3.3 kg at birth and now she is only 5 kgs. Is this due to FM?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. generally but the birth weight of the baby will become two times at the end of 5 months and it is only three times at the end of one year of age probably baby is having normal weight gain

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. In the first three months, a baby should gain, on average, 140 to 210 grams (five to 7½ ounces) per week. Hence your baby weight gain is normal.
