Hello doctor my baby will be 3 months old on 14 th july. At 2.5 months his weight was 7 kg and at the time of birth it was 3.18 kg. Is it a matter of concern? whether he is gaining too much weight? He is on brest feed only

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, weight of 7 kg is on the higher side for your 2.5 months old baby, but still within the normal weight range. Keep a close watch on your child’s weight and consult doctor if the weight gain continues to be high.
Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby.
