#askdoctors Dear Doctor... Is COVID 19 (Covishield) Vaccine recommend to breastfeeding moms? is it safe for mom and baby?

A. Yes, breastfeeding mothers can take Covishield vaccine. There are no risks involved for the mother and the child. The Covid Vaccinated mother can continue breastfeeding even after being vaccinated. The Covid vaccinated mother might even be able to pass antibodies through her breast milk to her baby to fight against Covid 19 infection.
