Q.

Ask experts # my 3 month baby have heavy cold and nasal congestion . what should I do.

A. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhalation wshich will again help in decreasing both cough and cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor for fever and pain zgive paracetamol. anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

A. You can use nasal drops you can put it every five or six hours also you can give steam to the child indirectly lastly if you want you can also nebulise the child with warm water that helps a lot in reducing the congestion from chest throat and nose of your child
