6 month old baby have suffering cold plz tell me tha medicine mam

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it can be allergic too.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl /ascoril flu cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it will be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination andmel treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.no self treatment should be done.

mam ,as it is caused by viral or bacterial infection , please offer plenty of breastfeeds to your child.
it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial Infections.
as a child is 6 months old ,you can give luke warm water with pinch of salt and Turmeric powder in 2 tbsp quantity twice in a day.
give sunbath for 20 minutes a day.
