Q.

15 days ago my baby took pentavalent vaccination,still there is 1 inch swelling around injected place....is that happens or need to apply any creams?

A. Hello good morning !! Swelling on vaccinated area is normal and it vanish by 3-5 days as baby is still having swelling since 15 days check if its paining. After a day of vaccination doing ice pack on swelling area will reduce pain and swelling ... You can now do ice pack (keep ice cubes) in a cotton cloth ,keep on swelling area for 30-45 seconds repeat the process for about 5-8 minutes frequently through out the day . If swelling is not reducing then consult paediatrician.
