You can almost see a light bulb go on, when your child figures out how to fit the pieces of a puzzle together. Simple puzzles, nesting blocks, stacking toys not only benefit your child’s cognitive development, but help to refine fine motor skills (which up until now has probably taken a back seat to gross motor skills such as running and climbing).
