A Letter to My Warrior Princess – You Are a Survivor
Dearest Pitta,
You came as a blessing in my life, so unexpectedly but indeed as a blessing. When the world around you did not want you, I fought for you and you survived. You and I survived all the pain, abuse, and all the problems of the world.
The only thing that kept me going was my love for you. I fought against the world to keep you alive and safe. I worked long hours at work to keep us afloat my baby girl. I spoke to you every day because I loved you so much. And I love you, my princess.
My love, your smile brightens my day and I can’t stop thanking the divine for you. You are my life and I thank you every day for being my best girl.
As I bring you up, I don’t expect you to take care of me, I love you selflessly, and the only thing I expect from you is that you become a good human being. You and I are alone in this world Pitta. Every single day I fight for you.
I wake up only for you. Being a mother has made me stronger. We have survived so far in this bad world. So I just want you to know that even in my absence, you should remember that you survived for a very good reason. Don’t let that goodness go. Just remember, you survived and you will survive through all the bad times. Be your amma’s strongest girl. You will always have me as long as I am alive. I will always be your best friend.
You are a warrior my love. This world may shun you because you’re a girl. But you have to stay strong and show the world your strength. You should, you have to. I love you honey. Remember, you are blessed and loved always.
As I always say each night hon, Amma loves you, always and forever.
Love,
Amma
